System V Bluetootth and Sony Ericsson phone

I have just got off the phone with Tim from BVM, who has recieved an email from BMW Germany regarding my System V helmet not talking to my SE K750i via bluetooth.

BMW have said that the System V bluetooth is incompatible with the Sony Ericsson K750i K800 and V600i, yet works with the K700. They reckon this is because Sony changed their bluetooth software?!?

Anyone got one one of these phones that works with the Sys V helmet??

Has anyone been able to sort this out??

I would take a look at the SE forums and sites such as

you may be able to change the bluetooth software

I have updated it to no avail..

SE support centre also confirm that it is a compatability issue...... As the k750i uses the later b/t software and it cannot be "backdated"

Damn shame as they are both really good bits of kit..
