Well I'm giddy with excitement I'm off on the UKGSer Croatia trip tomorrow and fulfilling an ambition.

The trip takes us through France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Hungrey Czech Republic, and I can't wait

Good luck I was there a few weeks ago, magic country Croatia.
watch out for high winds on the coast road its the worst i have ever encountered, took all my efforts to stop the bike being blown over with us sitting on it at a standstill.
I waved down the next biker who came along but he got blown over when he tried to stop.

What sort of average speeds did you make on the coast road ie Jadranska Magistrala? Average as in riding, not including lunch / wind stops. TVMIA.

Not sure about average speed but the coast road is great a biker magnet.
We stayed in Senj one night and all was well. next morning was high winds. I am well used to high winds but we got in a kind of vortex and i dont know how i held up the bike (K1200GT). We stopped for 2 hours in a cafe\bar they gave us a garage to put the bikes in really nice people. when we restarted it was still dodgy enough riding. The area is well known for high wind according to the locals.
