Anyone tried this for a 12GSA?

They are advertised on N/N's site.

Only had the GSA for a week before I decided that I was having too much trouble, instinctively finding the standard pad with my foot (riding other bikes at the same time) - so bought one of the extenders from NN.

Works fine and makes all the difference to me :thumb

I've ordered one for the GS (not GSA) - for road riding, the location/size of the rear brake is useless and I have to admit to becoming lazy with the cross-linked brakes (i.e. I mostly only use the front).

This is a bad habit to get into but, without the extender, I don't find the rear brake at all easy to use.

I'm sure that any of the brake extenders available will make a hell of a difference - after all, manufacturers/suppliers would not sell them if we were not all buying them - something else that BMW should look at in my opinion.

Thanks for the replies.

I found the rear brake very difficult to locate on a test drive. The GSA is in the dealers and can be registered at my convenience. I have now ordered an extender from Nippy.

I have always had them on my 1150 and standard 12. I was curious to get opinions on the GSA version.

Thanks again

The gear and rear brake lever extenders are highly recommended especially if you're wearing heavy duty off-road boots (e.g. Sidi Flex Force) to avoid ending up in a heap trying to find the pedal/shifter, or end up walking pigeon-toed from getting your feet to adjust to the inward cant to the levers. Money well spent I feel. HTH.

Recently fitted the Wunderlich extender and it makes a big difference........in my opinion also looks better than the TT item.

Didn't realise that Wunderlich did an extender for the 12GSA.
