Just done a service on the 1150. No issues, it all runs good but when I switch on the ignition the tacho neddle gives a tiny 'flick' of the stop. Is this normal on the 1150 and just something Ive never noticed for the past 30k miles? Or is it the start of the end for the Hall Effect Sensor?
Can someone nip out to their gs and tell me if they all do this.
Thanks in advance chaps :)

Just been out and tried mine twice. Did it both times. So...... either it's normal or mine's knackered too! :nenau

Cheers Udders, I suspect its just flicking as power is applied. Its tiny, but there. And proberbly has always been there as well. Just shows how unobservant I can be!:blast

Can't say that I'd noticed it either! :blast

A dicky, soon to shit itself, hall sensor will flick a lot worse than a tiny movement ......... ask me how i know :blast
