Put baby g310gs through the taffy dakar. In and amongst the big boys. She did well. Got stuck and unstuck, fell over, and got back up, and made it back to site unscathed.

Used a F650GS twin on that in 2016 and did the Paddy Dakar on the same bike in 2015.

I think it's not officially called the Taffy Dakar anymore cos those frenchies took umbridge at the use of the Dakar name.

Yep forked out on bash plate. Definitely need it on a few of the rocky sections

A bunch of hard core poles came top. Very good riders and did the prep. Well deserved win. My first event and didn’t come last or break anything. So all in all result

I’ve done it a couple of times on my Himalayan,not this year though. A mate did it on an ex Mikeyboy bike, the LDT650 he built a few years ago.
