Can anyone recommend a small tail pack to fit on the rack. I only need a max of 10 litres, just enough to take a pair of waterproofs and a few odds and ends on short journeys. The only ones I can find are far too big and have the capacity of a bottomless pit.

Kriega US-10 drybag maybe??

I use one of these as a tank bag and just secure it by putting the straps under the BMW Tank Bag mounting plate, there is no need then to use the extra Kriega mounting. It clips in with quick connector snap connectors and is fully waterproof - it could easily be used for the rear rack.
I have used it on 2 x Bikes now and it is very flexible on fitting etc.

Best bit of kit for a bike I have ever bought.

BMW do a really neat little 19-litre tail-pack. A "pocket" slips over the rear of the rack and a couple of straps stop it falling off. It has a waterproof inner liner with drawstring.
I believe it was aimed at the K1200R/F800S/F800ST originally.

I delude myself that it handles better without that bloody heavy top-box on the back!

I'm always wary of tailpack quoted capacities.

Have a look at a 5ltr screenwash container, picture 8 of them stacked together - and ask yourself...........

Does that "40 ltr tailpack" REALLY look like they'll all fit in? :augie

Al :)

Kriega drybag 10L it is then. Certainly looks like it will do the job and it'll also fit on to my Kreiga backpack as well. Thanks for the help

i've got a kreiga US-10 and use it as a tankbag/tailpack on various bikes. it's a great bit of kit but i'm pretty sure a set of light waterproofs would fill it, if they would fit at all.

might want to go up a size?

Oh! I didn't realise it was quite that small, maybe I should go for a US-20. Damn it's difficult when you can't compare them side by side but I can't find anywhere round here that keep them in stock.
