Tail pack for tools/tubes on the trails?

The Kriega us5 looks to be too big to me? Their tool roll looks ok but not sure you can strap it on and I don't think I'd get a tube in it. Or is the moose dual sport fender pack a better option? Any other recommendations? Ta muchly.
 
US5 for me.

They do compress down, so they're only as big as what you have inside :thumb

Having the extra space though means you could maybe squeeze an inner tube in there? :nenau

100% waterproof and pretty much bomb proof as well....can't rate Kriega kit highly enough :thumb2
 
I use a us5, which is a cracking bag but I find it a little tight when I fit a tube and pump in, along with my tools, levers etc.

I'll look at a us10 next, with a view to compressing it down to keep the volume down.
 
I've been using a US 5 with kriega's own tool roll for years.

Once i've got the basics in the tool roll it doesn't leave much room in the US 5 for much else (maybe a socket extension and sockets for the wheel nuts, and a few spare links at a push).

Sits quite nicely on my small TT rack on the back of the XChallenge.
