Tales from the Morocco 3

And we're back...

Got in yesterday evening & Padge had to come to the rescue as some numpty left the van lights on for three weeks :blast Thanks Padge :thumb2

The lads dropped me home & then proceeded south as fast as the wee Transporter could carry them :D

With the exception of the shock problem (& a couple of punctures on ShortArses bike) the little XCs behaved impeccably. They're ideal for the sort of road / off-road mix that we were doing & I'd be more than happy to take them again. The lack of padding on the seat would be my only gripe for long road sections.

We covered a bit over 3000km in the 3 weeks. Not exactly a 'dash', I know but it was supposed to be a holiday on the bikes rather than an endurance test. We did almost everything we wanted to but still left a bit for next time :D

You'll be pleased to know that Daithi is doing this years write-up & he assures me ya won't have to wait 6 months this time :augie

I'll post a few more pics when I get a few minutes ;)

Thanks Jockser and ShortArse for a brilliant three weeks.

I'll post a few more pics when I get a few minutes ;)

Howya Joe,

come on Daithi were waitin :bounce1:bounce1:bounce1
Blast, well I could photoshop something, but he was better than me and I only went "doink" the one
time. (no photos, I got up too quick for them :D )
I've started on the write-up but a three week write-up is a bit of a handful and since all I have to do
is beat the 6 month record set last year I've loads of time yet. :augie Only kidding :D
I'm trying to cobble together a DVD of the three weeks but since neither of my two colleagues were
wiling to give interviews, (see pic below for their response to the request) it will be just the bikes.
(small mercies)

Now for the Answer

it seems that "Shortarse" AKA sam was putting the other 2 under pressure , with his adventures into the sandy countryside , so they conspired to stop his gallop and knobbled his X650 ... and then stopped the replacement from arriving in Morocco. a "shock" to the System
or so they said in the "Examiner" this morning

The Gardai are opening a file... and looking into it

My little excursions into the sandy countryside became much less frequent once I stopped eating Berber Omelette
and the Imodium started to work at which point the pressure eased greatly.:thumb:thumb:thumb:thumb

Me little brother and ...

Well Mandy, I had no choice with one he arrived a long time ago with a dummy in his
mouth (that he kept spitting out) and dribble on his chin....and sure the other fella's
me younger brother (sure they're impossible to shake off).
