I'm 6' 4" and am on a R1200GSA.

I 'fit' on this bike better than on others but I wonder if anyone has made any changes on this bike that make riding long distances a bit more comfortable for tallish people.

Some changes I am intending to make

1. I get quite a bit of buffeting from the shoulders up so am fitting a Touratech windscreen spoiler. It add 112mm to the overall height of the screen, hopefully that will ease the sore neck

2. 40mm Handlebar risers to give me a more upright position, I tend to be hunched over and forward

3. Lower foot rests. Wunderlich have one that lowers the foot rests 25mm. I would expect this to help with better knee angle

Has anyone tried these mods, and if so, did they help?

Am keen to find out before I hand over the loot

Not quite as tall ...

... but you'll find bar risers and lower footpegs will help. Unfortunately buffeting (and curing same) is a bit of a 'black' art but there are solutions.

I have multi adjustable Rox risers and lower bigger footpegs on my 1150GSA, allied to tobinators and screen flow edging I'm a happy bunny. The search function is your friend, but be prepared for a lot of reading

I'm 6'3" and find my GSA unrideable without a Laminar Lip fitted to smooth out the airflow. I have not tried the TT alternative, but the Lip works for me.

I messed around with the bar/seat positions for a while and settled on the bars back and the high seat setting. Have not felt the need yet to try changing for risers or dropping the pegs. However, I will be adding a Sargent seat which hopefully will reduce some bum ache but as it loses an inch over the GSA standard seat height I might rethink that one. I have 34" leg.

Aero-flow (available from Ebay) worked for me, and I'm 6'4"

I'm still thinking over the other options you've mentioned. Search previous threads, I asked the same couple of months ago.
