Talon front sprockets 17,18 & 19T

Have been looking for a slightly lower final ratio for the G650X Country.
Spoke to Esjot sprocket UK dealer and can get a 17 T ordered in from Germany but after much digging around and spline checking a CCM 640 sprocket that comes in 17,18 & 19 T fits with same splines and shoulder widths, test drove on a 17T and gives a just noticeable gearing change and lowers the rpms on faster stretches in fifth.Wished Id had this gearing touring.

Dont forget chain length if jumping two teeth or more.

I used CCM 644/Talon sprockets on a Suzuli DR650 also

Cheers, must be down to the machine tooling for std splines, I was counting the damn things with a pencil on the screen!

Ah well I should have asked earlier, give it a test tomorrow down to the coast.

17T Talon ratio is a good road compromise , must admit stalled at lights until got used to but on the run really thunders along and doesnt stress out too bad on a cruise.
