Tank aluminium side panels

Is there some black magic involved in getting these off? I feel like I'm going to wreck the panel.

Errr, undo the three screws holding them on!

There's a clip about half way along the top and it's being a right barsteward to separate! Do I just muscle it out?

You shouldn't need any muscling if the torx bolts have been removed. Slightly angle 'up' then out to the relevant side.

lift at the bottom then pull

Hmmm never had an issue myself. Suggest undoing the bottom screw by the seat for the top tank panel.....side panel should just slip out. Be careful it doesn't fall out as they are easily scratched.
