Tank bag advice

I have recently acquired a 2012 1200GSA which came with bar risers. I like to have the option of a tankbag and also bought a small bag from here that came with a ring mount. Possibly as a result of the bar risers the bag is really tight up against the bars and it restricts their movement. Has anyone used an alternative style of bag that fits better with risers they can recommend?

Don't know about the bag you have but I've used SW Motech bags in the past.

They use a ring mount system but the base of the bag is hard and allows you to position the bag mount to best suit your installation.

Can you reposition the bag mount further towards the front of the bag? This would move the bag back away from the bars?

You can adjust the position on Givi/Kappa Tanklock bags as well. Mine can be put in 4 positions. Just 4 screws to undo, then refit into the alternative position using the predrilled holes in the base.

I could, I could also stick pins in my eyes but dont fancy that either.
