I am having a problem fitting a tank bag!
Anyone who has had a TT Tankbag fitted to an 1150GS will know that the front is anchored by two padded metal hooks over the edge of the front of the petrol tank.
I am currently pondering over fitting said bag to my 1200GS;
I do not think it is a good idea to anchor it over the plastic cover at the front, but cannot see anywhere else to fit it, other than two shallow lugs either side of the headstock.
How does the 1200 specific TT bag fit at the front? My plan is to mod the straps rather than shell out for a new bag.

If you take the 2 front metal clips off and then put them back on "upside down" they will fit into the metal strip at the back of the head stock. A bit fiddley but it does work.

I just bought a used TT bag and thats how the front attachment came to me.
Hmmm..... wonder if past owner did this when he bought it new or did it come from the factory like this?
I can get some pictures if ya like.

Thanks for the advice. Swopping the clips around was going to be my 'planB'.
The advantage of using the origional equipment is the solution to the 'Filling the Gap' thread with the flap at the front of the seat (high)!!
