Tank bagz!

I know, I'm trying to do things on the cheap but hey, I'm Scots, and iv'e also just spent all my cash on a 1150GSA!

My question is, is it likely that a 'Held' tank bag (has quite a lot of adjustment) that was previously used on a F650GS might fit over the behemoth tank of the GSA, or do I have to do the whole 'Baglux' thing?
Long term, 'Baglux' = yes, but I'm all spent out now so was hoping that I may be able to improvise

The bike won't be with me until next week sometime so hence this question, if it's a no go then I'll be looking to sell my (strap on) tank bag, until then though...

I don't know if that F650 tank bag will fit but I just use a generic magnetic tank bag on the 1150GS that I picked up from Lidl of all places. Here's it halfway through France a few years ago:

If you did spend all your cash on the GSA you should be able to pick up something like this for next to nothing and it was perfect for the job.

You can use any old magnetic bag surely?
Plenty of choice at all price levels.

Forget Baglux.....nasty old things they are.

Kriega tank bra, then a US5 or US10 on top of that........perfect fit, perfectly waterproof, quick release, job done

Ok, I have choices, that's good! I'm liking that Lidl tank bag, ideal for me for just occasional use at the moment but Lidl is quite random unfortunately so I'll have to watch and see.

I will have a look at the Kriega kit as I'm not totally skint and I don't want the lovely GSA to lose any of it's cool factor, but yes, probably 'almost' anything magnetic will do.

Thank's for the input, I'll advertise my 'Held' tank bag over the weekend and have a look around to see what's available.

Yeah Lidl is a bit random - they have their 'bike weeks' every now and again. It's a very generic type of bag though and I'm sure lots of brands sell the same sort of thing. I only use it very rarely but it's nice to have as an option and it cost something like £15, has a map pocket on top and turns into a backpack.

Wolfman explorer lite for me, had it on 3 bikes versys, tdm850 and also fits current bike 1100gs.

Hmnn! I'm waiting for the bike to get delivered so until then I will just have to patiently wait...
I think that I will hang onto the 'Held' tankbag and try that first, if that isn't an option I have some excellent advice to follow up thank's to all your replies.
