Tank Bars On GS1200

Hi All
Have started adding stuff to the GS and need some advice.

My GS1200 came with silver BWM engine bars already fitted and I have been looking to put tank bars on her.
Came across something intresting in the Wunderlich cataloge when I was looking for other things
Apparently Hepco & Becker tank bars will fit onto the existing BMW bars.
Has anybody done this or know if they will definately fit.
Also have a migsel light bar and was wondering if this is going to cause any problems in fitting the tank bars.

Upper crash bars and light bars can be a real pain in the ass together and I would make sure you likely call all manufacturers before you start buying stuff. Crash bars only usually fit crash bars in the same family (for example the SW Motech only fit each other). If you are going to add an upper crash bar why not just mount the lights there and save some dosh? Personally I wouldn't bother with upper crash bars and go for the Migsel bar. If you do have an off the bike will hit the lower bars first and then the handle bars. Good luck .

agree with what he said , i suspect you will need to lose the light bar and mount the lights on the upper bars. The upper bars mount differently depending on year of bike, 2008+ they use the pre drilled holes under the beak .
