Tank
Make sure it's near empty: much easier to lift and you don't need so big a jerrycan to catch the fuel that pours out when you disconnect the hoses. Fit quick couplings if you haven't already. Makes removing the tank a breeze.

Beak
Remove 4 torx screws from the bottom.
Take a deep breath. Try to remove two more torx screws from the inside, below the cockpit. These are hard to reach.
Remove indicators (19mm nut from the inside). Open them up to remove the wires from the clips. Be careful when refitting the covers, don't overtighten the screws or the plastic will break!

Rear mudguard
Never removed that bit so far, sorry.

Good luck,
Michel

REAR MUDGUARD, not sure if the 1150 is the same but stripping my 1100 down I found there was not a multiplug connection for the rear wiring harness feeding the rearlight and indicators, so you have to pop the reflectors out and disconnect the female spade connectors, might pay to tape some string or wire to one of the indicator wires before you pull them out of the stems to help with re-assembly.
Hope i've been of help.
Brian.
p.s. heard of people chopping the harness and using bullet conn's but that wasn't for me.

Graphitan? Bit bland innit? If you're going to all that trouble why not be completely different and choose something a bit more radical?

Its a personal thing innit? I know what you mean about the graphitan, but it definately has the edge over Mandarin, and is the best colour to come out of the factory IMHO. I might save a few pennies and get the Mandarin bits sprayed up into something totally radical and un BWM.

Thanks for your tips guys.
