tank c & beaks

:bowcan anyone help
just bought a 1150gs
fancy the beak ext like the gsa (dont need but you no what its like)
is this possible cannot seem to find
also any one suggest the best source of tank covers

The beaks are a cheap and simple bolt on from BMW.

Tank covers from Buglux
 
cheers cannot seem to work out the baglux site for bms:blast
and can i just buy the extender for the gsa to fit the gs???:thumb

Just buy the GSA one with the black bolts, line it up and drill some holes.

Put a beak extender on my 1150 GS and now, imho, looks the dog's.....

Got it through ebay but it was from Ocean BMWs ebay shop. Warning though, came without the bolts - Bastar*s - that was another £5 er.

No idea what Ocean punts them out at but I got one from Allan Jeffries a few years back and I don't seem to remember it being prohibitively expensive. Give your local dealer a ring. From memory I put masking tape on the standard beak (roughly where the holes would be) to stop unwanted tool slippage :augie. Lined the extension up, marked the holes with pen/pencil, drilled some small pilot holes and then finished off with correct size drill bit,or if you've got one you could use a cone cutter. Takes moments.
