Apologies to anyone who may have read this over here: http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=180970 already, just realised I posted it in the wrong section :)

Am looking for something to take the place of the old magnetic tankbag I had on my VFR. I used to keep my work pass in it & could just pull the whole bag off the tank and wave it in front of the gate sensor. Was much easier than rummaging in pockets etc.

Has anyone seen a similar bag or other solution? (I don't think I'd trust a bag that's only held on by a suction cup though?)

Been using the Touratech 18/26L bag, (055-1132 , page 297 in 08 catalouge) for the past 4 years, no probs. Also us the Map case, again with out any problems. Fits my 08 bike as well - phoned TT up and they sent me replacement sticky velcro patches for fitting to new bike, no charge:thumb2

Loo, 'Search' is your friend.

Several very lengthy threads as to what tankbag is 'best' and why.

I use the SW Motech Engage bag - clips onto a ring which is left mounted to the petrol filler cap. Has stayed on offroading with no problems - would work well for you.
