yes i see what kenny has done but i am wondering would the tank look very wrong on a g/s with no farings or bars just the bare mono
can get an acerbis tank off a g/s which cannot be painted
any advice please:bow

If you did not put the PD "front end" on with the tank - I think it would look "very wrong"

You could try a normal para GS tank - it fits the G/S - not as big as the PD Tank - but bigger than the G/S tank, but again the front of the seat area will be untidy with a normal mono seat.

Dont see any reason why the Acrebis type tank would'nt fit. \it has seperate brackets and so should go on ok. I think some of the early RTW.s were 80g/s monos and they often used this set up as far as I know.

I fitted an acerbis tank on a standard R100, they can be made to fit anything, the mounts for the tank come with it so they can be fitted within reason to just about any airhead frame.

The Acerbis tank without the 'butty box' stowage insert is actually a 45 litre tank as per the one I fitted on my old LegoBike.

It was designed for the R80g/s so with the original Acerbis fitting kit it will go straight on.
