I've deleted the app. Looked into it. Couldn't delete my account. they can spam my spam account!

I was getting spammed by everyone comments... bless em
I went into the app and disabled all notifications.... still got em.
So here's what i did.
Go to one of the emails and scroll to the bottom to this bit
Click Manage your email settings you will see this
Untick all and SAVE
only strange thing is, it will re-tick Views my profile for some reason.
But it will stop all the spam

I tried two browsers and couldn't get to that page. Screw them. I can see where all the stupid emails i have been getting started from...

On safari. Keeps putting up tapatalk suggestions.. I’ll be vigilant!!

I am happy using the browser version. I guess it just became a habit. The true test will be in the photo upload...I'll experiement. Muchos!

But honestly, it is habit and the 'old' site was a ballache on mobile devices.
People always need a reason to change doing what they're doing. That's perfectly normal.
Slowly but surely I think people will start to realise that Tapatalk had it's day when it was a way to use your flip phone with forums like this, but that it just has less and less of a place in the modern world.
Cast the chains aside and be free my fellow tossers - in fact toss the chains aside, for that is your true destiny

I do use the mobile web version most often and macbook but there is something I skip back to Tapatalk on mobile for every now and then, damned if I can remember why but it's some functionality, maybe an edit or history thing.... naa, it will have to wait until I need to do it again

I have no issues with Tapatalk.
There are a few versions of it in the stores
older to newer versions maybe.
I also think I pay a monthly euro or so for some sort of a premium version.
Only one downside I can find is the ability to edit a post seems to have disappeared over the last 12 months or so

It shouldn’t have disappeared…. try using a normal browser with the sites own mobile version instead of Tapatalk.

This works for me. No need to delete the Tapatalk app, I have other forums configured so I can continue to use it for that.
