I quite like the idea of using Taptalk on my phone but what does it access other than what you add to it. Does it pick up other media from your phone or apple account etc and therefore how secure is it.
I cant seem to find much info on the online forums etc.
Thanks
G

If you're concerned about privacy then switch to android and use the Xprivacy Xposed module. Don't consider anything secure on ios.

Tapatalk is just a convenient forum browser (when it works) nothing more or less. There is a free version so why not try it. As far as secure, what would be your concerns?

I'm using a Windows phone and have signed up to Taptalk free but it seems to find my favourites from my Explorer on Windows but how does it get access? I thought you had to add forum sites to Taptalk. As it sells information on I'm wondering what else it has access to.
Thanks

Tapatalk as an app is annoying though, it is just about better than trying to browse a desktop site on a small phone screen.

For just browsing the forum its okay, I personally detest the "feed" view and then having to go the the timeline.
It's intended for multiple forums so for single use it doesn't really work and it doesn't fully interface with your private messages. At least mine doesn't.
