Can you use fuel to get road tar off a titanium can , or whats the best method used by you ?
Tried regular cleaning but the stuff's caked on
Thanks.

Use cheap white spirit myself. Just spray it on, let it soak and wash off. Works for me.

I found by chance that Halfords thinners works a treat.

It disolves baked on tar virtually on contact.

WD40 - Easy and Safe!!

I use WD40 - mainly on a Remus Titanium can, but also on any other parts that end up with tar spots - front engine casing for example. works a treat and no danger of fire!! or damaging any surfaces with harsher solvents - and it leaves a bit protection as well.

Or leave some butter on there for a bit to soften the tar. It might even smell nice when it gets hot.... :D

Gunk or any engine cleaner will remove it, diesel is also very effective
