Tarka`s 40th at the Daffodil Rally March 31st - April 2nd

I don`t know if anyone`s interested,but Friday March 31st is my 40th buffdee, and that weekend is also the Daffodil Rally

Historically the Daffodil Rally has been the baby of the North Western Region of the BMF,and while it`s a chance to meet the reps and 'chew the fat' ,it`s still just as much a biking Spring Rally in its own right.

It`s also a chance to ride the fabulous roads and enjoy the scenery of the Lake District ( it`s just down the road from the Wrynose Pass and Hardknott Pass ).

And this year...it`s also my 40th

The venue is Sykeside Camping Park and Brotherswater Inn, located at Brotherswater,Patterdale.

There`s 'no rooms left in the inn',to coin a phrase from someone,and the bunkhouse is full,but there`s loads of camping space and full facilites including a shop and 'The Barn End Bar' where meals are available.

My wife won't let me come. Somthing to do with pissing off to Ireland last weekend and then Morocco next weekend. Seems I need to spend a weekend at home rather than on the bike

More notice would've been good. I had no idea it was your 40th...........thought that was a few years or more ago

Bike needs new rear, service, tax and MOT plus insurance. All being sorted over the weekend/ early next week, been too busy with the house. Can you postpone??? We can make it next weekend.

BMF rally - hotel ... bunkhouse.... Tcha, now if it was a MAG or NABD do ... huge marquee...bands...24 hour bar .... strippers ... comedians.. rave tents...
