Tax Disc Holders

Scan it in colour, and fit that to the bike. Keep the original safe.

Did that ...

... and even printed COPY across it; bloody half wits still snapped off three expensive holders before the disc was consigned to under the seat. As pointed out previously, while there is an offence of 'fail to display' it is rarely proceeded with on it's own

Not displayed my tax disc for the last four years.
As Steve says, its all on computer these days:thumb2

I really can't see the point of not displaying your disc and risking a fine / prosecution.
If the original gets stolen it's free to replace. Even if you lose it it's only £7 for a replacement. If your found 'failing to display' you risk at least a £30 fixed penalty (or £60 ticket in some circumstances).
Displaying a colour photocopy is technically uttering a forged document for which you can be arrested.
Yes I know its all on computer these days but why risk it?
Personally, I display mine in a hard to get to location, tucked away on the right of the bike at the rear of & below the left cylinder and have never had a problem.

Another use for the MiGSel lightbar...

Oxford Products tax disc holder. 100% waterproof, lashed to the lightbar. Works for me :thumb

On the 'right of the bike' below the 'Left cylinder'

True ...

Even if you lose it it's only £7 for a replacement.

... but the holders were £14 each, which made it expensive as well as irritating :thedummy

The only 'legal' place to display the tax disc on a PTW is on the nearside in front of the riders position. I had mine all over the bike and they still kept getting snapped off :nenau
