Tax Disc

The owner of that clearly didn't do enough research. :blast At least they did it themselves. :thumb

Which thread?

Thanks for the link .

The thread for the model is not even titled correctly and that owner thought that bike should be on show. :barf

The only saving grace is to work out which military establishment is in the background.

Makes you wonder why they didn't start an informative thread on Tax Disc placement...? :blast
There's so many helpful people out there who would have been all to happy to chime in and suggest ideas... (cough)...:blagblah

Whats the beef with this pic?

Unfortunately there isn't any beef. It's a vegetarian photograph of a very new bike in very standard dress, and poorly framed so that it hides the interesting background.
I don't have a problem with vegetables but one carrot looks like most other carrots, except the one's with two legs and funny appendages. They're the one's we want to see, even with a Tax Disc holder.

It's clever in the fact that, not only is it in the correct place for the law/traffic wardens to see it clearly, he's (or maybe SHE's) stuck a big white circle around it making it even easier to see :D

Is it a Touratwat white circle?:nenau Won't be cheap if it is. :blast

Saw a 2004 gs12 with tax disc in same place, in Bristol, last friday. Never mind.

The tax disc was murdered! SOCO have now left the scene and the bike is awaiting recovery.....

best wishes to his insurance certificate & MOT, I am sure they will miss him greatly...RIP... :rose

Tax disc was mounted in exactly the same place when I picked it up from the dealer. Had to take the back roads home to avoid embarassment !!:hide
