TB sync or not TB sync..?

i've just balanced the TB's but have noted that i can now hear a 'double click' when i snap the throttles shut (with the engine off)...does this suggest things aint what they should be ?

How does it run ? pop the gauges back on if you are not confident.

I tend to think that both TB's should open at the same time if things are working to plan....is that right??...it frequently starts running rough at low end so i need to constantly rebalance them, i am begining to think that the right throttle stop has been fiddled with...the TPS reads 0.365v as it should but tickover is about 1500 and the BBS are only out approx 3/4 on one and 1/2 on t'other...
i have just checked the valves with 2 feeler gauges and set the end float of the rockers at the min needed.........i'm going dotty over this...............

If it worked fine until you messed with it again... I think there is your answer?! Unless you know something about bike fuel managment that steptoe doesn't... I'd get it set up again... with the bike running... then leave it alone and try to think of the little clickers as a little clap from the eco warriors when you decrease the throttle!
