I've got an 02 GSA and I've had a go at balancing the throttle bodies. I Slackened the choke and throttle cables and got a perfect '0' at idle and perfect '0' at 2500rpm. But, the plates behind both the TB's are rattling slightly, which suggests that there is no slack in the cables. I'm satisfied I have a near perfect balance in the bowden cables as the twinmax is at '0' on max sensitivityat 2500rpm.
The question is, should I screw around with the throttle stop screws to stop the plates rattling, or do the whole thing again from the beginning ?. If I do the whole twinmax procedure again, how much slack should there be in the bowden cables and where exactly should it be measured ?. I tried a few times with the bowden adjuster very low in the threads to start off as slack as possible, but I can only get a perfect balance with the adjustments I have now.
I have searched the forum, but I cannot find a similar problem. Hopefully someone has had the same problems. Many thanks.
