Hi all,
Whilst in Scotland (Moffat) at the Buccleuch Arms - I had the pleasure to ride their newly acquired 1996 R1100GS (19k miles). This fuel injected motor had a wonderful crispness to its delivery and went like stink. My 2012 R1200GS TC, whilst being more powerful does not have the same feel to it (being more erm..... creamy and less eager). I am thinking that ditching the cat might solve this as routing the gases through the matrix somehow restricts the motor? Is this the case? I might go down the de-cat headers, pipe and hilltop remap route?
Any experience of this?? Cheers . Steve
