Is it possible to remove the TE sat nav mount without causing any issues?

Easy to do and causes no problems - removed mine to plumb in an old Zumo 550 then refitted when I got round to buying a Nav V :thumb

I removed the mount, the left hand heated grip with wheelie thing, and replaced with non wheelie heated grip.
This did not cause any problems with the bikes computer system, ie no reprogramming required.
Did this on 2013 bike and the replacement 2014.

I thought you said Billy Basic was best, less to go wrong etc. :nenau

I still think simple is best and I don't really want all the bling, but price difference to get the new bike is not that great by the time I've added heated grips and cruise control - will only be keeping it 2 years max before the next one, so next owner will have the worry of things going wrong out of warranty :)
