Went down there yesterday to talk to them about the new Guzzi Stelvio NTX and it seems a canny set up and the chap was very informative, chatty etc without being too pushy.

I've been offered their new 2011 model demostrater for a day when it comes in later next month.

As it is my nearest dealer for Guzzi (160 mile round trip) I want to know before I think about buying , what are they like once they have your money and what is their servicing and aftersales like ?

hi neil, i have found them to be very good and on your side when daling with suppliers, i had problems with a brand new shoei hornet and they couldnt have been more helpfull

and the offer of a full days test underlines their genuine goodwill, i wouldnt hesitate

regards lofthopper

Hi Neil, this is my local dealer so I've been there on numersous occasions. Though I've not bought a machine from them and only used them for purchases and MoTs, I have always found them interested in you, keen to help, flexible and welcoming.... so they clearly don't belong in the business then!:D

They've been around in Thirsk for a long time having moved to the present site in recent years as the business expanded. Worth a trip down especially as there are many, many, good roads to ride and test a machine in the area. :)

Andy is a top bloke, I have had 2 friends buy bikes off him and no problems.

Yep...mate bought a used bike off em last year....completly painless and did everything they said they would..:thumb

Excellent just what I was wanting to hear , now lets just see how good the new Stelvio NTX really is

Been up there a couple of times and always been very helpful.

They are dealers for TranAm and have a great deal on a Rukka Armax suit at the mo. They are doing them for £1340 instead of the new replacement which is now £2000!!!

They also do 10% off for IAM members.

living in thirsk it is my local bike shop and i rate all the staff highly, theres a great selection of bikes, and accessories, and the servicing, mots, and repairs are all done to an exceptionally high standard,

the shop and the staff are going from strength to strength, due to hard work and commitment

If you ride with a pillion? make sure you take them with you on the demo ride.
I took the Stelvio NTX out from Thirsk last year and absolutely loved it,and the folks at Teasdale are a pleasure to deal with. I had a 1200gs mu at the time.
I almost ordered one straight after my test ride but decided I should give it another go with Joanne on the back.
We whent back a couple of days later after booking another ride, unfortunately it was a different kettle of fish with Jo on the back, the luggage pushed into her calfs and we could not get out of the way of each others feet, despite changeing seating positions.
In the end we ordered another 1200gs,not that I'm complaining but I really really liked the Stelvio.
In hindsight what I should have done was to buy a nice late model 1150 gs for when we both went out and a new Stelvio for when I was away on my own.

You need to get custom luggage from "CAJASACHAL" . He currently runs an '11 stelvio .
