I met this guy in London recently who runs a website featuring tech and gadgets for motorcyclists - http://ridewithtech.com/. Nothing mechanical, just smartphones, apps, GoPro's/cameras and accessories etc. There is an ever increasing library of interesting reviews and photos/videos so if you are into tech and gadgets then maybe it will be of interest.
On my last visit to the website I noticed a review of a new app for motorcyclists called mototrackTOUR - http://ridewithtech.com/tech-gadgets/apps/mototracktour_app/. Being a tech head myself, I downloaded it and gave it a run. It's not bad. Really clever functionality and a simple way to keep a log of your rides. There is a companion website that allows you to upload your rides and even share them with your friends or everyone. A really good way for family and friends to follow you on your next adventure. Best of all it has been developed specifically for motorcyclists unlike many of the other logging/tracking apps currently available.
It's only available in the Android market at the moment (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mototrack.tour) but I understand the developer is working on an iPhone version which should be available in a couple of months.
I've even given some feedback to the developer and they are really responsive and happy to consider suggestions for future enhancements. So if you are like me and always on the look out for new apps this one is definitely worth checking out.
