Ted Simon @ Ace Cafe Friday 9th March

Ted Simon Wrote a book called Jupiters Travels back in the 1970's, about his four year journey around the world on a Triumph Tiger. It is the book that Ewan McGregor credits as his inspiration for Long Way Round.

Then in 2001 aged 70 he decided to do it again, only this time he had the good sense to ride a BMW R80GS.

He will be giving talks and signing books at the Ace from 7pm on Friday 9th March. I'm going to give it a look if I can.
