Teds proper poorly

My apologise for the picture of the sign, which, in hindsight, was way out of line. I had no idea Ted had a problem down there. :o

Look forward to seeing him at the Windmill Inn very soon, fully recovered and riding so I can apologise in person.

Just spotted this thread

Ted

Best wishes from Georgie, Oscar and me. We hope you get over it quick and get back to normality soon (if owning a GS counts as normality).

For once you've more right to the name 'sorebums'.

Home at last

Hello all. Am back home again and recuperating. Just like to say thank you to every one who sent me cards and good wishes, most heartening and very welcome.
Got some very welcome news before they tufted me out to the care of the district nurse. The tumour and associated bits that were removed turned out to be benign :bounce1 so just have to recover from the surgery and like a baby relearn every thing from walking to Sh**ing, also need to put back the 12kg I lost (one hell of a diet). Have done the most important thing though, made sure I can get on the GS and put the Optimate on the bike :D
Hope to be able to take it for a run on Boxing Day, well that’s my target, weather permitting. Just need to get some GS reflective stickers for my walking sticks and then it’s off to the Windmill at the end of the month for some full fat beer.
Great thing is I can have lots of fat, sweet puddings and double cream on everything no more lite or reduced sugar stuff for a few weeks yippee.
Once again thanks to every one and special thanks to Ian and especially Mark for the visits and help.

Just got to think of next years trips now.. Never did get to into Bulgaria

See you on the 28th :thumb

Hi Ted I had the same type of the big "C" about 4ys ago I knew when I was getting better when I wanted to get my leg over, ok and get on the GS again.
Dont rush things it all takes time wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery
Tommo
