Telelever pivot joint

My GS 2004 10.000 miles normally ride on rugged roads in Venezuela, South America, I have a rubber boot broken and some lubricant at pivot joint of telever, feeling of instability during tide turns at high speed.....any clue of pivot joint failure or any way to test this component integrity?

Like any ball joint (like on a car) shouldn't be any up/down movement.
