Are Chilli vests anygood? My Klan is next to useless

The vest was pretty good at the start and worked well on the 1150 Adv but the connectors are cheap and started to cause problems.
Never got it to work on my 12GS.
Worked out it was the temp controller had packed up.
Swapped the connectors over from the temp controller last night but now my
socket is switching off itself off after 5mins
I'm sure there fix for the socket somewhere on the site but cant be arsed searching for it tonight
I wouldnt buy another one
There is newer / better high tech fabric options on the go these days (forget the name, its been a long day)...a little more expensive, but look the biz,

Never had a problem with my Gerbing gear in 2 years of quite heavy use.
