Temperature Gauge

Dumbing down the riding experience! Now when I rode to North Cape on a Norton Commando in open face, leather jacket and water proof over trouser, I got the full riding experience. But these days I wrap up warm in high tech clothing and this little bit of kit tells me it is a lot colder out there than I am. This morning on the ride to work it started at 2 went to -1.5 and up to 3 by the time I arrived at work. Did it stop me falling on my back side, no riding for 40+ years did but it still is Worth having. Now is a sat nav worth having? I remember maps or am I just being dumb!

Sat nav is essential, it plays my tunes and keeps me calm :D:D

... unless that is you're a tough guy and never need heated gear!

What has the use of heated gear got to do with the need for a temp gauge ?

I can understand cars having them, as you're totally isolated from the outside elements unless you're a real man and drive with all the windows opened and the heating off.

But when i'm sitting riding on a bike i know exactly how fecking cold or warm it is, never seen the need and will manage quiet happily without.

I thank you. :comfort

You've invested in the wrong heated gear :clap Mine's so warm and cosy it feels like a summers day ;)
