Terrible twins, a mini rebuild

Well done with the rebuild. I dont blame you for wanting to keep it looking good.

I notice you have problems with vibration. I fount Rox anti vibration risers really good on a Diversion 900 that's got a rough spot just at motorways speeds. The bar mounted mirrors went from fuzzy useless to almost clear images.

I think any GS would need different bar clamps - lower and/or further forward to allow the bars to sit no higher than standard with the Rox risers in place.

This is a great price they can be double this.

Be careful if you want 7/8" bar size. They more commonly come with 1-1/8" pegs and clamps with reducers for the clamps. Not a problem if you have some special bar clamp blocks made to order.

I'm sure I would and if this is even approximately right, it wont be me having the last laugh. :(

Already have a set to go on after the winter, but also need longer clutch cable / brake cable as there is not enough slack. :(
Sadly I had a serious smash 8 yrs ago that all but killed me :eek :(
Now various parts of me no longer work correctly or at all, so just can't take the cold now, so just a fair weather rider now :tears
Some you win others you loose :blast and somebody with more sense would stick with the car ;)

As well as the clutch and brake another thing to keep in mind is the throttle cable is to short mine is re routed for now.

But I have got a F800 one (not fitted yet) which is longer so I can follow the old route hopefully:blast (cables together through the hoop thingy) from BMW inc VAT £27.60

PS I dont think your missing to much from the cold that stuff gives me the shivers :eek  :thumb

Put a set of Rox risers, extended front brake line and extended clutch cable to Geraldines 650 Twin and she loves it even more now. Didn't need to do anything with the throttle cable.

Thanks to Cliff from http://www.adventurebikeshop.co.uk/brand-manufacturer/roxspeed for all his help and advice :thumb
