Tesla trip around Europe - 4176 miles in 9 days

Yep, nicely done. :clap
I always go away on my own on my bike, in my car or motorhome. I don’t think it’s selfish, just practical. You’re not constantly pandering to others stupid “ needs “! Do what you want every day, at a pace you want to do it at. It’s a LOT more relaxing. :thumb2

Excellent write up of your trip. For long EV trips Tesla's are the way to go. Elon is a knob but the car division have got so much right in terms of the vehicle and charging infrastructure (y)

Trying to do the maths with my addled brain:

If you had an ICE car doing, say, 45 mpg, you’d have used 93 gallons, or 423 litres. So thats about £600 in fuel costs for an ICE for the same distance.

superb write up, I've been doing the maths over the last few weeks thinking about a new Tesla 3 Long Range RWD, I have all manner of costs in a spreadsheet for public and home charging, and I think it's going to average at about 5p/mile, so a very welcome read. We have lost the range anxiety that used to hang over electric cars, and looking at what's available for what I need nothing can touch Tesla. (y)

Thanks, glad it was useful.

On 26500 miles now and planning my Baltic dates. Trying to decide whether to go in April but it might make going far north tricky!

Cheers Justin. I’m glad it’s been a useful read for some people, helps me remember it too! Both these aspects make me more likely to do another trip and write it up. Have a good weekend

We have been asked if we can get a referral from another Tesla owner, it gets a discount and benefits for the referral as well, if you can - could you message me with a "referral link" :beerjug:
