Test ride this morning

When I had GSs the biggest feature for me was the seat height and flexibility of the engine.

The bike seems much smaller so more cramped and I'm surprised it will only pull from 45mph in top.It seems in trying to catch up with the opposition ( which still has 25 more bhp) BMW have removed the biggest plus point of the bike in the first place.

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear,I didn't mean it will only pull from 45mph in top gear,what I meant was if your dawdling along at 45mph in top gear and the opportunity for an overtake arises you don't have to think about it you just give it a twist and go.

It's not as though my TC won't do this it will,it just won't do it as rapidly and effortlessly as the WC

That statement is incorrect - the new bike pulls harder than the old one in all gears at all revs.
