Hi All,
First Post. Took a gs12 out for a test ride today. Been riding all manner of bikes for 25 years. Currently own a Triumph speed triple.

I bloody loved it. What a hoot. Probably quicker on the road than my current bike. I cant really explain how it felt to ride. Just nice. I read an article in a magazine that said that you just point roughly in the right direction and the bike does the rest, zero responsiblity biking. Not sure about the zero responsibilty but I agree with the gist.

Now advice. Which one. Second hand. What would you go for? what extras are a must?

Steve.

Hi

Glad you enjoyed ya test ride, a lot of us come from sports bikes and i for sure had a shock getting on a GS, First time did not gel with it but after several long test rides bought one ,08 model and loved it , Now ride a 2010 GSA ,As for extras the sky is the limit, just ride one for a while get used to it then you will know yourself, for me it was sargent seat that made biggest dif.just enjoy the bike :)

Best to go straight to a GSA, you will end up there anyway:augie

2010 twin cam ones are better and you should get premium and dynamic packs as well, if you don't it will be cheaper but will cost you when you sell it.

Thin on the ground at the moment but they do come along privately.
