Test Ride

My test ride of the new LC yesterday left me with an overall impression of WOW! This is the machine I wanted my 2012 TB to be coming from a litre sports bike.

The good:

Far better stability in fast sweeping bends. Doesn't wallow like the old one
Holds a tighter line in bends

The LC appeared to be easier to throw around in the twisties

The bad:

Head shake. This happened 5 times in my hours ride, 3 of which were whilst leant over and hard on the throttle coming out of bends. Glad the new one will have a steering damper.

It's not going to be easier to throw around in the twisties when your having to fight against an hydraulic steering damper.

More stable in fast sweeping bends but shook it's head 5 times,I wouldn't like to be riding your old bike.

I said it didn't wallow like the old one!!

Steering dampers work a treat on modern sports bikes and I only nudge the inside bar so should help! The LC allowed me to ride in a style more akin to how I like to ride.

It appears that a few folk have picked up on this as a big issue from what I written. It wasn't for me, just tried to give a fair report of my experience.
