Hi everyone,

It’s with a heavy heart I’m listing this, but I’ve had my head turned by her younger, slightly wilder sister (the R1200S) and I can't justify keeping two Boxers in the garage. Just dipping my toe in to test the waters.

I’m in no rush and plan to list it properly on the open market in spring, but I thought I would put it up for forum members first in case anyone is looking for a genuine "keeper".

It is a 2004 Twin Spark model in the best Pacific Blue/Alpine White colour scheme.

Bike has usual "furring" on the front engine breastplate but I have sorted the telelever, and fork legs. Bike is otherwise spotless with the very odd minor age related scuffs. It has been a garage queen (currently sitting on carpet/plastic) and the cosmetics are collector-grade.

Mileage: 35k Miles

History: Part Service History - I did all the basics myself (fuel, air, oil filters and brake, shaft, clutch fluids) and had major things like the swingarm bearings done at BMW. So meticulously maintained and condition speaks for itself.

INCLUDED
Luggage: BMW System Panniers included, with matching locks.
Spec: Heated grips, non-ABS, colour matched seat cowl. I will also leave the footpeg lowering kit on. Y-piece fitted and standard CAT can be included.

PRICING & OPTIONS
I’ll be advertising the standard bike for £3,650 in the spring given the condition and spec. I am putting AI to the test - its what it reckoned my bike was worth
:?

I also have a collection of parts that I am NOT selling separately yet. I want to give the new owner first refusal.

PARTS:
5.5" Rear Wheel and Michelin PR5 (4mm ish tread)
Maxton Rear Shock
Corbin Seat
Remus Cans (no link pipe though)
LSL Bar Backs (unused) and BMW comfort bar (used)
Taller screen
V46 topbox and fitting kit
Ilmberg carbon fibre hugger

Option A: Bike as standard (with Panniers): £3,650. Will come freshly serviced and 12mo MoT.

Option B: The "All-In" Package (Bike + Every spare part I have): £4,400 (Saving you over £400 vs buying them separately).

If the bike sells in standard trim, the parts will be listed in the 'Parts for Sale' section afterwards.

Drop me a PM if you're interested or want to see more photos.

Cheers,

Kevin

Hi everyone,

A quick January update. I know it's a quiet time of year, but I've had a rethink on the "All-In" package idea.

To make things simpler, I’ve decided to split the parts from the bike so I am dropping the price of the bike (in standard trim with panniers) to £2,950. If I get the asking price, I'll through in a Givi rack and VR46 topbox.

Cheers

Morning Kevin

It may be an idea if you wheeled the bike outside and took a full picture of it.

GLWTS.

Managed to get some photos on a gloriously sunny day - but at a heavy price. Dropped here getting her back in the garage :( Still, at least it saves the next owner from having to go through the pain.

Fair warning - ad now live on biketrader ;)
So please add the confirmed price to your advertisement, ie this thread 😁

"Testing the water" , is generally frowned upon

Your either selling or not selling, but you can't do both

Thanks - realised that my initial post was overly complicated and I did attempt to make the sale price clear in a later post.

I couldn't see an option to amend the title of the post though - beginning to think it might be better to just delete this post and start a new one.
