Ok just finished fitting my Innovv K7 and time to put a recording card in it.
The instructions say "...supports TF Card from 8GB to 512GB."
When I go shopping I get all the various names; SD card / micro card etc etc.. for a TF card.
Whoosh, all this terminology passes me by.
I was going to purchase this;
SanDisk Extreme 180MBs SDXC Pro Memory Card - 256GB £48

So before I spend my money is this
a) TF card and
b) open to your recommended cards if you know better.
thanks
Karel

Seems Micro SD are the same....as far as I can see

Think your link is to an SD card, which is bigger

The INNOVV K7 motorcycle dashcam supports MicroSD cards up to 512GB, requiring high-endurance cards rated at least U3/V30 for reliable 2K video recording. Using high-speed (UHS-I/U3) cards is necessary to handle high-data rates. It is strongly recommended to format the card within the INNOVV app to ensure proper FAT32 formatting and system stability

Key SD Card Specifications for INNOVV K7:
  • Capacity: Up to 512GB.
  • Speed Class: U3 (UHS Speed Class 3) or V30/V60/V90 (Video Speed Class).
  • Type: High-Endurance MicroSD card recommended for constant rewriting.
    • Formatting: Must be in FAT32 format (usually required for cards 64GB and larger).
    • Formatting Method: Always use the INNOVV App to format, as computer formatting can cause issues

Make sure you get one that's best suited for recording video.

Simply put you need a decent capacity micro SD card, for dash cam applications it is recommended going for a 'high endurance' card, this just means the memory bits can be overwritten more times, more reliably. They are a good choice, but not absolutely essential. 256GB and higher will be a good choice no matter what your brand or endurance types, the bigger the card, the more video is kept before being overwritten, but it is still a good idea to have an extra of some capacity so if you need to keep video or there is a problem with the card you can swap them out. Go for a named brand and you will generally be okay, but buy from a reputable source, so avoid ebay as it could be fake.

I bought the one on Innovv's own website
It seems a fair price
