Are they one & the same thing?
I have a 2000 1150Gs that's fitted with a y-piece & Remus can (not Revolution). Bike goes well, seen 122mph on the clock & 55mpg when bimbling about at 70mph in the country.
It pops & bands once or twice on the overun on a closed throttle as the revs drop down to 2,500rpm. I'll be checking for leaky exhaust joints later.
Assuming the joints are okay, what is the best route to eliminate the popping & banging: TFI/Techlusion or Chip? Is it worth installing a K&N air filter? I've heard that the Techlusion R259 can only add fuel(?) - how does it deal with a bike that's running rich elsewhere in the rev range?
I don't want to gain top end power at the expense of midrange power.
Thanks in advance
Steve
