TFT Cleaning stuff....

Fucking seems like it when you try to clean it.

Paranoid about damaging it too..

I wasn’t taking the piss when I said WD40 and a microfiber cloth. It’s how I get all the water spots off my 1290 TFT dash. Try it on a corner first, and you’ll see. ;)
 
I use a water spray (for plants) and a micro-fibre cloth - fine micro-fibre, not the towely types, and it comes up spotless.

I always think that it’s a bit like my iPad, when it’s off you can see finger marks and smears but as soon as it’s switched on all the marks become invisible.
 
FFS, how stupid can you guys be. Glass lens cleaner, as in glasses you wear and wipe of with a Scotty towel. It’s a fuckin motorbike, it gets dirty especially when it rains:blast

Where does it say it's glass ?
Where does it say on this thread it's not a motorbike and that it doesn't get dirty?
Remember: speak on the intraweb how you would standing next to someone in the pub, as id just have dropped you on your ass and be wiping your tears with a baby wipe ? If that works ?

Was out most of yesterday. Off today. Got my daughter's coming over for BBQ and Liverpool beating Chelsea!
Be back on it tomorrow.
Interesting, I worked it out whilst on it yesterday...
Even with my dirty TFT in just two weeks of ownership I'd covered just over 3450 miles.
It's warmed up nicely !

Oh we are a little touchy :comfort I'd say that in a real pub, and what makes you think you'd drop me. You don't know who me. Glass cleaner works very well on non glass surfaces.
