TFT Media/Wheel Volume Control

Only problem is my non-mesh SRL2 has been modified from helmet speakers to a 3.5mm jack plug for my UE monitors, it’d be a shame to lose such audio clarity going back to helmet speakers or have to pay again for the same mod on a new mesh unit. Not sure it’s worth the added expense just to get volume control.

YEah I know what you are saying as I looked into the in ear headphones (specific to motorbike) but I just couldn't warrant the cost

That's good news. I've just ordered a Nexx X. COM 3 Pro to go with my new X.Lifecountry. I would think that's similar to the SRL3.

I’ve just got an x-com 3 pro and was under the impression it’s a 50s under the hood. So compatible with the wonder wheel for volume. I’m using a chigee with apple car play so volume control needs to come through the tft. However it’s not doing anything.
Have tried to update the software but its version 1.1 and that looks to be the latest.

Does yours work?

It's a 50r/s, but not the firmware, it only uses mesh 2 for now. V1.1 is the latest. The wheel works but only if you disconnect the headset from the phone. The way I do it is use the app if I need to set anything up, but once it's done I seldom need to change anything, can change mesh channel from the buttons if you need to. So the just 'forget this device' then all's good, it's a good unit. I find I need to do this with the 50c and 50r too though.

I also use Chigee with CarPlay.

Just another thing I've found, you can't use the wheel for volume if NAV is selected, it has to be TFT. If I remember right I could with NAV6

Bloody hell you’re a star! Disconnected the phone from the second pairing and bingo, for the first time in the 4 years I’ve had the bike, I can actually adjust the volume!
Which means I can connect the bike to the chigee and the tft, so I can run the connect app in the back ground and connect my helmet to the bike and not lose the volume every time someone rings or I forget to turn my phone up to max

Good news. gets frustrating when something that should work doesn't. It's not that obvious, I fell on it be chance. Glad it worked out.

The Nexx x comm 3 pro now has new firmware v1.2 that allows for Mesh 3 to be used.
