Thanks to Anne, Sid and Simon for all their hard work and generosity this weekend. I’m on the ferry contemplating a most excellent weeekend surrounded by great company, food and drink.
I can’t express my gratitude, it was a much needed trip on the fat lass, it helps massively with my mental well-being.

What a stonking weekend with great food and drink, but most importantly very fine company.
We are now in San Sebastián for a few nights before heading back to the tunnel on Friday afternoon.

I left this morning at around 10am and am now in Aubusson.
I want to pass on my heartfelt thanks to Sid and Anne for their astonishing hospitality and generosity, they are the most welcoming pair of Tossers any of us will have the privilege to meet.
It was great to see some old faces but also fantastic to meet some new faces and put some faces to names to people who I feel I have know for a long long time but never got to meet and also to meet your lovely other halves . It was a pleasure and a joy to share time with you all. Also, special mention to Simon for his sterling work cooking us breakfasts, dinners, bbqs - well you mention it he was there slaving over a hot griddle - Certa Cito my friend!
As I left this morning riding in sunshine and 24C through beautiful French scenery I could not but help reflecting that life was truly good and what a special time I had enjoyed with some great people.
Take care all and hope to see you all again on the road less travelled.

PS. Whilst on the A20 for a short period a GSA came hooning past and I'm sure it was Iced Fusion - AKA big Steve, all 6ft 6" of him.

Just to echo the many comments, nice to put new names to faces, superb hosts , Sid and Ann, and the hospitality provided, everybody was made to feel very welcome
And huge thanks to the chef who cooked for us all, in the blistering heat, all weekend,
And i have to say rhe paella, was amazing the recipie was spot on Sid

Not to reiterate all that has been said, but had a really chilledout weekend all thanks to Sid and Anne for hosting and providing the food and drink and for Simon for the cookouts! It was great to meet everyone even though I only joined the forum very recently (I be the very tall one!)
