Just like to say a big THANK YOU to those who have posted such great guides and tips on 'how to' do the gearbox output seal.
With the required heat it all came apart great, and has now gone back together great after a good clean up while there !
Also did the Gear change shaft seal, re-aligned the shaft to 'mirror image' each end (was 1 spline out) and had to change the rear pivot bearings (£80 !!!!)
TIP - when the driveshaft is off, put both parts together so the UJ's align correctly (mirror image each end) then mark up so you can see when refitting the final drive box.

If I may add 1 tip to this procedure - to get the front swingarm rubber boot on which can be a right bitch (I had the swingarm off) -
First fix the rubber boot to the swingarm with the internal clip, then feed the swingarm with rubber boot carefully over the drive shaft into position WITH THE REAR SHOCK REMOVED.
Push it towards the back of the gearbox while held level (in line with the output shaft) - the rubber boot will simply pop into place all way round.
Support the swingarm in position (fillets of wood between gearbox housing / swingarm and something further back) Put the (clean) pinions in either side finger tight through the bearings,
Replace the rear shock (may need to lower rear of swingarm a bit) and fit bolt loosely to swingarm.
Then as per the other guides - appropriate locktight and torques.

Once again Thanks to those who make the effort to share their knowledge and tips - :thumb2:thumb2:thumb2
