I have just had my 24000 mile service done at Allan Jefferies, 27500 on clock.
The total cost £220.00 due to me pre paying £40 for the next four oil changes.
For the money they did the following.
Plug change,
Air Filter change,
Oil and filter change,
Check valves,
Replace rocker cover gasket,
Standard checks round the bike highlighted a loose and corroded battery clamp which was probably causing the delay in powering up the ECU I was experiencing???
While removing the air filter casing a few of the tabs snapped off so they took one from a demo bike and replaced mine so I was not off the road waiting for a Warranty replacement.
I dropped the bike off at 8.30 and they started straight away. It was finally jet washed and cleaned ready to hand back to me at 1.00. I had the use of the demo R1200R while the work was being done.
I am well impressed by their efforts

Usually, but sometimes lost in the invoicing. It dose pay to find a good dealer and stay loyal. Its not uncommon to have this fee for a demo or loan bike, imagine what the insurance premium costs for any rider, any bike would be. Also there is a minimum of 5lt of fuel included so its still good value.
