One mod who knows his stuff (Steptoe) recommends OEM gel batteries - says Odyssey's aren't worth the money. I chose to listen to him, but others will no doubt recommend other options - there's almost as many back and forth debates about batteries as oil :rolleyes:

Mmmm, I think I'll go along the OEM gel route too Matt. So long as it gts me through the winter without problem that will be fine.

funny that I have never used an optimate and never had a flat battery.

my new(to me) Ducati came with one and the battery is shagged.
